Hewett Academy student comes third in The Queen Mother's Handwriting Awards

Hewett Academy student, Ella Bisby, has won third place in Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother’s Handwriting Awards 2020.

The competition has been running since 1977, inspired by The Queen Mother during a visit to the East of England show. She said: "Clear handwriting is an essential element of communication and self-expression." 

Judges look at the formation of letters and words, correct positioning of punctuation, and overall writing presentation. Congratulations Ella!
